Lynelle Lynch, an accomplished visionary and entrepreneur, took over as President and Owner in August of 2005. Lynelle's fresh perspective on the beauty and wellness education business allowed her to see all the opportunity that lay dormant in this business. She quickly started pulling from her vast experience in marketing, retail, politics and management to rethink how she could revolutionize beauty education. This led to her first decision - to offer advanced education that was unprecedented in beauty school education and career development. These programs remain unsurpassed in quality and excellence to this day.

Lynelle has cultivated an Advisory Board of successful industry leaders who share the focus to elevate the educational experience and meet the current professional demands. Lynelle's dynamic and innovative approach has earned her nationwide recognition in many fields. As a result of her vision, relentless efforts and successes, Lynelle and the academies have been recognized in a multitude of national industry publications for their implementation of advanced courses and programs.

Throughout Lynelle's career, she has been active in numerous civic and charitable causes serving on 16 Boards of Directors. In 2005, Lynelle was appointed to serve on the Board of the California Association of Private Post Secondary Schools (CAPPS) and in 2007 she was appointed to serve on the new Milady Board. Lynelle also serves on the American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) Public Relations Committee and is dedicated to creating a vision and mission to elevate the art of Beauty and Spa education worldwide.

Diego Raviglione, Artistic Director

Joanne Berry, Director of Spa & Wellness Education

Joanne Berry has over 18 years of international experience in the luxury and medical spa industry. As the Director of Spa and Wellness Education, Joanne keeps our esthetic and massage curriculums on the cutting edge of industry trends. This includes creating and overseeing the ongoing development of an advanced course curriculum for our academies. Joanne also uses her connections and industry acumen to help place students in the spa and salon industry upon graduation. Her goal is to establish lifelong relationships with them for future job placement.

As a native of the United Kingdom, Joanne was trained in Europe and holds a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy and an IFA Diploma in Aromatherapy. In her early roles, she worked as an esthetician, massage therapist, aromatherapist, and body treatment specialist.However, Joanne was quickly drawn to the business side of the industry. She focused her career on management and sales where she could utilize her skills in beauty techniques while using her business savvy to: sell products, develop innovative marketing techniques, create strategic planning, and design unique signature spa treatments.

Joanne's subsequent positions focused on business management and education in many different segments of the spa industry including: cruise ships, multiple day spas, resort/destination spas and most recently, medical spas. Joanne has conducted extensive training and product seminars, including training over 400 staff in all aspects of spa treatments and customer service while serving as the Education Manager with Steiner Day Spa Division in San Diego. She gained broad operational management experience overseeing spa services on 125 cruise ships with Steiner Management Services.

In addition to speaking at international conferences, Joanne keeps up with the ever-changing medical spa and luxury spa industry through attendance at conferences such as the ISPA and the AAD (American Academy of Dermatology) conferences. Joanne also contributes regular articles to Spa Business Magazine and other trade publications around the globe.

Nick Berardi, Master Educator

Featured in both print and broadcast media as a renowned hairstylist and educator, Nick Berardi has been a creative force in the international education arena for the past thirty years and is well recognized throughout the world for his innovative precision haircutting techniques.

With a true love for the art of precision haircutting and unsurpassed talent, Nick was inspired to develop powerful online seminars to teach stylists from all corners of the globe and bring passion and creativity to their everyday salon environment.

In 2010, Nick partnered with Bellus Academy as the Master Educator to develop the S.T.A.R. Precision Haircutting System with fellow Artistic Director, Diego Raviglione.

In addition to Nick’s numerous appearances and seminars at hairshows, beauty schools and salons around the world, his recent press includes; Wella Future Vision Unplugged 2010, Americas Beauty Show 2010, Bellus Academy connection, Wella Future Vision 2009, ABC News and Wella Trend Vision 2008.

Nick’s past and present teaching experience includes; former Senior Creative Director of Vidal Sassoon’s New York City Salons, former U.S. Creative Director for KMS and current international Top Stylist with Wella’s Education.
