Shear Love Movement Gives Back
Bellus Academy alum Meghan Foley is giving back to her community … in a BIG way! Founder of Shear Love Movement, she planned an event at Bellus Academy this past Sunday, September 25, to give free haircuts to disadvantaged clients.
The organization was created to bring hairstylists together to help those in need and the first event, held at Bellus, was a giant success! As many as 250 individuals, all referred bylocal service organizations, schools and churches, received free haircuts, as well as free hair products and lunch.
Meghan plans on creating more events like this so that others will give back to their community using their learned skill set and humanitarian spirit. The Bellus event included 30 professionals and 40 students assisting with free haircuts.
