A Bellus Academy Student Wins Gold in the Wella Student Competition!
Ashley Thom, a cosmetology student at our Poway Campus, won Gold in the annual Wella Student Competition, part of the internationally renowned America’s Beauty Show. Two other Bellus students, who also competed took Silver awards in their categories.

Bellus Students Participate in Fashion Week in Kansas and California
This month Bellus Academy students from our Manhattan campus provided the hair styling for runway models at Kansas City Fashion Week. Our San Diego students provided hair and make-up artistry for Fashion Week San Diego 2012 and are planning for FWSD 2013! Karen Chien, a recent Master Esthetics Bellus Graduate, is now the West Coast Trainer for Kerstin Florian, a manufacturer of European facial, body and bath products for the spa industry. We are very proud of her and look forward to working with her in her new role! Our Career Services Department works with students to develop Job Placement skills and has successfully placed students at top salons and spas including Jet Rhys, Hotel Del Coronado Spa & Salon, and Oasis MD.
