PAY FOR BEAUTY SCHOOL WITH THE GI BILL®
Being a military wife, I needed to pursue a career that I could take with me wherever I am.

Use the GI Bill - If finances are holding you back, the GI Bill can help! Family members of military members can use the GI Bill to fund part of their beauty school education. Our Financial Aid advisors can walk you through every step of the process.
Beauty school can provide you the opportunity to get out and meet new people and make new friends. If you find yourself feeling lonely at home, join the Bellus family and expand your personal network!
Military families often travel around the country, making it hard to find steady work while your spouse is away. A career in beauty can enable you to continue to advance your career wherever you live! Our modern curriculum can teach you business skills to help you be your own boss!
Military spouses don’t take the easy path in life! They are often in charge of taking care of the home, the kids, and sometimes even the finances of the family while their spouse is away! If this sounds like your daily life, a career in beauty could be the solution to give you the work-life balance you need. Cosmetology, esthetics, and nail technician programs can all be funded with the GI Bill* to enable you to support your family and pursue your passions. As the spouse of a military member you can also use Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) to apply for additional financial benefits.
Travel is often an integral part of being in a military family, which can make career development difficult. Cosmetologists, estheticians, and nail techs are in demand all over the nation and internationally, so you never need to worry about whether or not you can find a job when your family relocates! You can even take the ITEC certification if you need to take your career abroad!
Being a military wife, I needed to pursue a career that I could take with me wherever I am. I am confident in my education enough to walk into any salon in America and know what’s expected of me.
I have wanted to become a hair stylist since I was 14 years old. After I graduated high school I looked into going to cosmetology school. I put it off and joined the U.S. Navy where I became a military police officer. When I came back to California, I decided to finally go to school for hair. Thank you, Bellus Academy, for making my dreams come true.
