Cosmetology Foundation
Requiring a minimum of 1,000 hours to complete, our Cosmetology Foundation program provides extensive training in hair, skin, and nails. Students learn to perform core services, including wet & thermal styling, chemical waving & straightening, signature foundation hair coloring & haircutting, facials and brow shaping, hair removal, lash lift, basic make-up, manicures and pedicures, and nail enhancements. Coursework includes training in infection control and equipment safety, plus relevant state laws.
Our Cosmetology program is a comprehensive course that includes an extensive theoretical and hands-on training with an emphasis in hair color and cutting. Designed to give our graduates a competitive edge, Bellus Academy offers a business training to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset. Students receive the tools to master online marketing, branding, retailing, client retention and financial management.
The opportunity to refine their technical and communication skills takes place in our busy professional salon floor where our future professionals work 1:1 with a diverse clientele.
