Helping Bellus Academy Students Bridge the Tuition Gap

Bellus Academy’s Financial Aid Office provides every student with information and assistance with federal financial aid, grants, federal student loans, private loans and other funding resources. These new financing resources are designed to provide more options for students who may have a gap between their available financial aid and the cost of their education. Students may use a combination of resources to finance their education, depending on eligibility.
Adding Climb and Colleging Marketplace student financing options creates additional pathways for eligible students who need help covering a remaining tuition balance. For some students, that funding gap can make the difference between beginning their education as planned and having to postpone their start date. Climb Student Financing – A New Financing Platform
Students at Bellus Academy now have access to Climb, an education financing platform designed to expand access to career-focused education. Students at participating schools can apply for financing options through Climb Credit.
If you’re concerned about your credit history, Climb’s approach may be particularly helpful. Financing is subject to qualification, but Climb’s underwriting approach considers factors beyond a traditional credit score. Even if you have no credit or poor credit, you can still apply to determine what options may be available to you. Applying through Climb uses a soft credit check when applicable, so it won’t affect your credit score.*
Colleging Marketplace – Credit Union Student Loans
Bellus Academy students will now also have access to Colleging Marketplace, a RevlTek solution, which connects students with private education loan options from participating credit unions. Rather than providing a single lending option, the marketplace helps students explore potential loan choices from credit union partners. Available products can include fixed- and variable-rate options, and actual rates and terms depend on the lender and the applicant’s qualifications.
Colleging Marketplace also highlights features available through participating lenders such as no-cosigner options, potential automatic-payment rate reductions and options for covering past-due balances. Colleging marketplace gives you an opportunity to evaluate different private student loan options, which can help you identify financing that fits your individual circumstances.
