The Manhattan campus is home to experienced, dedicated educators who share their knowledge and passion for beauty with our students. Jessica Andrews is one such educator. Jessica brings a strong blend of entrepreneurship, industry experience, and education to the Manhattan campus. As the owner of J’s Make Up Artistry, a brand focused on quality, inclusivity, and real client needs, Jessica has received multiple prestigious awards, including the 2023 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, Manhattan Flint Hills. She was also the 2025 winner of the Pitch Competition through the Black Entrepreneurs of the Flint Hills Commerce Uplift Program, supported by the Kauffman Foundation (2025), as well as the recipient of a $2,500 Business Grant in 2026. Jessica worked backstage at New York Fashion Week, creating editorial beauty looks, and participated in Omaha Fashion Week as well as worked as the Glam Team Director for Heartland International Fashion Week in Kansas City. She is currently developing a digital book, Mastering the Classic Brow. Students benefit from her industry-insider knowledge, and Jessica will lead eligible students to Heartland International Fashion Week (May 20–23), where they can gain hands-on experience preparing models backstage. This exceptional experience provides direct exposure to the fast-paced environment of professional fashion shows and helps build both technical skills and confidence.
